Diabetic Foot Care

If you suffer from diabetes, you are at much greater risk of developing foot problems. It is very important that you take good care of your feet. Diabetes can affect your circulation, leading to reduced blood supply to your feet. Additionally, elevated blood glucose levels, also known as blood sugar, can damage the sensation in your feet.

Should you have diabetes, you may experience various symptoms related to your feet. These can include tingling or pain, as well as numbness and lose feeling in your feet. If this occurs, you may accidentally damage your foot, which can lead to cuts and sores that can become infected.
